Landlord or tenant problems?

FREE Eviction Mediation Clinic
Via Zoom or phone on a case-by-case basis
Mediation offers a proactive alternative to the traditional, expensive eviction process, aimed at keeping everyone secure and whole. Mediation respects both the tenant’s and landlord’s rights and aims to reach an agreement that both parties can live with.
Neighborhood Dispute Settlement (NDS), with many other supporting agencies, offers this no-cost service to Dauphin County landlords and tenants.
Mediation helps to
-
Avoid unnecessary expenditure
-
Address other conflicts
-
Offer creative solutions
-
Lead to more positive outcomes between landlords and tenants
During the Clinic
Each Eviction Mediation Clinic begins with an Info Session that describes the mediation process and social services that may be beneficial to the mediation resolution where tenants and landlords receive free education and social services aimed at increasing their stability. This may include financial assistance for back-rent. Landlords can avoid court fees.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED!
Please complete the online registration form below. Both tenant and landlord will have to register. Additional forms may be required once the mediation process is agreed to, and those are downloadable documents that you can email to staffnds@gmail.com.
